New Grass Introductions for 2008
With the increase in popularity of grasses, we've decided to make a bid for the National Collection of MISCANTHUS, and also increase our stock of Molinia.
There is a great National Collection of MISCANTHUS at the Dell Nursery in Norfolk, owned and looked after by Blooms of Bressingham, and already Jaime Blake there, has offered to help with plant 'swaps'.
Also, e-mails are flying between ourselves and the French National Collection in the South of France, discussing co-operation and sharing knowledge.
We are at an early stage in talks with the NCCPG and we have a long way to go to get all the varieties,-but we've made a good start!
The following is our current list, but we hope to add another 20-30 varieties by the end of the 2008 season.
