This variety produces large, dark green sprouts, which are ready from October to December.  

WHEN TO SOW 
March to April.
WHERE TO SOW 
Sow seeds thinly into pots or trays under glass at 13°C or sow in shallow drills in a seed bed outside.
WHEN TO TRANSPLANT 
As soon as the glasshouse seedlings show their first pair of leaves, prick off into trays 5cm apart. Gradually harden off before planting in the growing site 60cm apart in May. Thin outdoor seedlings as soon as possible to 10cm apart and transplant to growing site when about 15cm tall.

Smooth, dark green, tightly wrapped sprouts on tall, sturdy plants. Medium to late maturity, with good frost tolerance.

WHERE TO SOW
Indoors - Early sowings may be made under glass at 13° C. Prick off into trays 5cm apart and gradually harden off before planting in outdoor growing site 60cm apart.
Outdoors - Sow thinly in shallow drills in seed bed. Thin as soon as possible to 10cm apart and transplant to growing site 60cm apart when plants are 15cm tall.
